At the Book Fair, you can: - Expand your home library with books from Scholastic’s selection of engaging and affordable books. Pick books from your child’s wish list or choose some of your own favorites. - Enter a free raffle to win great new books. - Help expand classroom libraries by donating a book from your child’s teacher wish list. Volunteers are still needed. Sign up here http://signup.com/go/UgVdbOG if you are able to help! 2/13/2019 From the Yearbook Committee:Order forms for the 2018-19 yearbooks went home this week. Please note that all yearbook orders are due NO LATER THAN MARCH 1. This is a strict deadline, so don't miss out.
You can order online or turn in the form with payment to school. To order online, go to book.hrimaging.com. You'll be prompted to fill in our school information and your child's name. Under products, next to yearbook, press add, and the yearbook will be added to your cart. You'll then be directed to finish your order with your address and payment information. All yearbooks will be shipped to the school in one order, and students will receive them at the end of the school year. If you have any questions, please contact the yearbook committee at [email protected]. Also please remember to send pictures of school-related events such as parties, concerts, and basketball games to this email address. 2/8/2019 Help Needed!!We are hosting a book fair during parent- teacher conferences next week and we need volunteers to help make it a success. Your input is valuable. 2/4/2019 Thank You - Carnival and RaffleThank you to all the families who came out this weekend to our AFA Carnival and Raffle. It was a well attended event and fun was had by all. We were all very excited to have all our D70 School Board members, District 70 ERC staff members, Dr. Schumacher and in-coming Superintendent, Dr. Matthew Barbini attend our event. Thank you to all the parents who made this event possible! It takes a lot of time and effort to make these events happen and we could not do it without the families at Adler. Thank you especially to Naomi Simpson, Sheila Hiller, Jennifer Bowman, Kathy Hodge, Leslie Hasbrouck, Dana Allan, Sarah Zovistoski, Jen Garippo, Michele Gorman, Sarah Seiberlich & Stephanie Walker. Finally, a special thank you to Mrs. Cervantes, Mr. Jasso and Mr. Hernandez who helped make Adler Park ready for the event and then got the building ready for learning again. 2/4/2019 AFA Dinner Night Out - February 28thWe are doing a fun Dinner Night Out at the end of February! Please join us on February 28th at Dos Amigos (D70 business partner) from 5-9 (dine-in or carry-out) and 10% of the SALES will go directly to the Adler Family Association.
