Crayola ColorCycle Program - April
Are you doing some spring cleaning this month?
Adler Girl Scout Troop 43072 is collecting dried out markers for recycling. Please send in your old markers including highlighters and dry erase markers. They do not have to be the Crayola brand. The class collecting the most markers during the month of April will win a popsicle party! Be sure to stop by the ColorCycle Station during Family STEM Night to learn what happens to the markers and to see which class is in the lead for the most markers collected. For more information, please contact Sheila Hillier at [email protected].

Family STEM Night - Thursday, April 25th
Join us for an evening of FUN hands-on science and technology based activities involving your whole family. It will be held on Thursday, April 25th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Adler Park School. There is no cost to participate!
Activities that will be featured include a drone demo (starting every 15 minutes) by Aerial Chicago Photography, experimenting with dry ice bubbles, testing out static electricity, building watershed models, designing your own marble run, and building a small house that can withstand the breath of the big, bad wolf. As your family completes a task, you will receive a stamp on your STEM passport for entry to win a prize. What a great way to kick off STEM Week!
If you would like to lend a hand, we could use one or two more parent volunteers to ensure the evening runs smoothly. No science or technology background is needed. Please contact Kristyn White at [email protected] for more information.

April 24th Dinner night out
Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 24th! We will be having our next Dinner Night Out event on this day at Ganello's in Libertyville. The great news is that the fundraiser will run all day, so you can order lunch AND/OR dinner and it will count towards our fundraiser. The owners are generously contributing 25% of the total sales back to the Adler Family Association. A flyer will be coming home soon as a reminder! We know how busy everyone is with spring sports so don't forget that you can pick up food too (just mention you're with Adler). We hope to see some of you there!
